Maryan , an young fisherman who is very close to sea. He is talented and also have so many skills . He uses his skills in finding livelihood. Parvathi menon , Done the lead lady role as Panimalar , The lover of Maryan. Panimalar asking Mariyan to do the job of a constructor in Sudan. The first half going through the love of Maryan and Panimalar.
Maryan is surely a visual treat for the audience. Rahman's songs looks more effective on screen .Maryan is not a racy entertainer because the movie has more importants to its story. The hard work of whole team can be seen on Maryan.

Dhanush , Who is very much talented to act pain and emotion has done his best in Maryan also.The story line going well in second half also. The chemistry between Dhanush and parvathi is extremley superb and you will feel it while watching Maryan.
